Friday, March 20, Port of Den Helder took part in the Kom Binnen bij Bedrijven Dagen (Open Company Days). It was a successful event, where we welcomed many enthusiastic visitors and received a lot of positive feedback.

Throughout the day, we organized three rounds, each with approximately 15 visitors. The groups were diverse, with visitors of all ages who participated with great interest and asked thoughtful and relevant questions.

During the tours, the focus was on the operational work in the port. Visitors were given a unique behind-the-scenes look at our daily activities.

The program offered a varied perspective on the port:

• Welcome with coffee and refreshments by the harbour master, overlooking the port, including an introduction to the work of the Port Authority team.
• A short presentation by our financial manager about what it takes to keep the port running.
• A closing walk along the quay with one of our operational colleagues, showing what their day-to-day work involves.
