New step in sustainable shore power provision at Port of Den Helder

We are proud to announce that green shore power with a capacity of up to 125 amps is now also available on the finger piers on the north side of the Moorman Bridge.

This is not only an improvement of the current infrastructure, but also the starting point for further expansion of #shorepower in the northern part of the #seaport.

The next new installation will be even more powerful and versatile, supporting 50 and 60 Hertz, with multiple connection options such as 125A CE, Powerlock, and 3PX5, preparing us for the #future.

The preparations were carried out with support from Sweco, and the works are being executed by Klaver Infratechniek and partners.
This investment in sustainability is made possible in part by subsidies from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Province of North Holland, and the Municipality of Den Helder.

Together, we are taking an important step towards a cleaner and more efficient port!
