During the Kom Binnen Bij Bedrijven Dagen 2026, Port of Den Helder will once again open its doors.

Port of Den Helder is responsible for the management, maintenance, and development of the non-military part of Den Helder’s port. Together with stakeholders such as local businesses, Den Helder Airport, the Royal Netherlands Navy, and government partners, we work to create sustainable economic growth for the region. Our activities range from supervising ship moorings and securing the quays, to planning maintenance of bridges and locks, and contributing to the future development of business activity around the port.

What Can You Expect?
This year’s tour focuses on operational activities. You’ll join us for a guided round through our port office and part of the quays, learning about our operations, finances, and everything involved in handling ship visits:

• Welcome with coffee and cookies from the harbour master, with a view over the port and insights into the daily operations of the Harbour Service.

• Presentation by our Financial Manager in the meeting room, explaining all that goes into keeping the port running smoothly.

• Walk along the quays with one of our assistant harbour masters to see firsthand the variety of tasks involved in their work.
